Historic temple near Ranchi city of India.



Just a small experiment in my photography. This is a famous temple near Ranchi. Photo was taken by me on 21st October, 2012 evening. It seems that statue of the lions are trying to catch the moon.

आसमानी बिजली से कैसे बचा जाये?

बिजली गिरने से हर साल कई लोगों की मृत्यु हो जाती है। द्वारा डा. नितीश प्रियदर्शी भूवैज्ञानिक एवं पर्यावरणविद। राँची । भारत में पिछले कुछ वर्षों से मौसम  लगातार  बदल रहा है जिसके चलते आंधी तूफ़ान तथा आसमान से बिजली गिरने की खबर आ रही है। बिजली गिरने से हर साल कई लोगों की मृत्यु हो जाती है। इस वर्ष भी आसमानी बिजली गिरने की वजह से कई लोगों की असामायिक मृत्यु हुई खासकर बिहार , झारखण्ड , ओड़िसा , मध्य प्रदेश  इत्यादि राज्यों में। २०१६ में बिजली गिरने से बिहार , झारखंड और मध्यप्रदेश में करीब १०० से ऊपर  लोगों की मौत हो गई , जबकि 24 लोग घायल हुए।  इस प्राकतिक आपदा में 13 पशुओं की भी मौत हुई।  बिहार के  पटना , नालंदा , पूर्णिया , भोजपुर , रोहतास , बक्सर और औरंगाबाद में आसमानी बिजली इंसानों पर कहर बनकर टूटी । झारखंड और उत्तर प्रदेश में भी अलग-अलग जगहों पर बिजली गिरने से कई लोगों की मौत हुई।   लोगों में जागरूकता की कमी से लोगों को जान से हाथ धोना पड़ता है। आइये ये जानने की कोशिश करें की जब आसमान में कस के बिजली चमक रही हो तो क्या करना चाहिए।...

Blazing hot sun had a huge halo formed around it. by Dr. Nitish Priyadarshi On Sunday, Ranchi people witnessed a spectacular natural phenomenon in the sky. The blazing hot sun had a huge halo formed around it. City people and those in the outskirts watched in wonder as the giant ring, also referred to as 22° halo, was visible around the sun for over an hour in the afternoon. While many braved the summer heat to climb to rooftops to take photographs of the halo, it also caused panic in some. Apart from the state capital, other cities across the state like Jamshedpur, Hazaribag and Dhanbad also witnessed the phenomenon. Halos are rings of light that can encircle the sun or the moon, and they usually occur when a thin layer of cirrus clouds are present in the sky. Most halos appear as bright white rings but in some instances, the dispersion of light as it passes through ice crystals found in upper level cirrus clouds can cause a halo to have color.
